A single piece of high-carbon stainless steel is used by Wüsthof to forge the blade of the Classic 10” Super Slicer into a wavy, serrated edge to cut through foods with tough or crusty exteriors like roasts or bread, while still handling the insides delicately. It works equally as well for poultry, boneless meats, and tomatoes. The serrated edges are formed in a scalloped fashion to avoid tearing of more tender foods unlike how a normal, sharp serrated edge might. Attractive and highly functional, this knife also functions perfectly as a cake slicer.
Utilizing their patented Precision Edge Technology (PEtec), Wüsthof establishes that each laser-tested, hand-honed cutting edge is considerably sharper and better at maintaining blade precision than most knives. Within the impressively elegant appearance of the Wüsthof Classic 10” Super Slicer, form and function harmonize as the bolster delivers ultimate balance while the heel offers a safe, controlled handling experience. The shape of the bolster allows for easy sharpening of the entire blade, as well as utilization of the blade’s complete length while cutting, slicing and serving.
Comfort and construction are provided by the contoured handle, complete with a full tang and triple-riveting. The handle is formed from a synthetic, durable polymer and proudly wears the classic Wüsthof trident logo as tribute to its sublime quality.
Each Wüsthof Classic 10” Super Slicer is made in Solingen, Germany and comes with a lifetime guarantee.
