The Messermeister Meridian Elite 6" Flexible Boning Knife is similar to the standard boning knife, but offers a flexible blade. The flexibility of the blade makes this a more versatile knife in the kitchen. This knife has the ability to not only separate meat from the bone but it can also aid in removing flesh from meat, and fillet a fish.
Like all other knives in the Meridian Elite line the blade on this Flexible Boning Knife is fully forged and perfectly balanced. A 15° "Elite" edge is put on the blade to give you the sharpest blade possible when it leaves the factory. Each edge on Messermeister knives is hand-polished for a brilliant shine.
The handle of the Meridian Elite Flexible Boning Knife is ergonomically shaped to perfectly fit in your hand. The "POM" handle is triple riveted and the spine of the blade is polished to give the knife a pristine finished look.
Properly caring for your Messermeister knife is very important, and will give more life to your blades. Maintaining a sharp edge on your blade and keeping food from drying to it can help prevent injury while using your knife. After you are finished with your knives, clean them with warm soapy water, fully dry and safely store them in a blade guard, knife block, or an in-drawer storage tray. Do not wash your knives in the dishwasher or let them soak in water.
